The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryomou takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Ryomou is trying hard to land a takedown here. Master sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Master instigates a clinch.
Master working hard to break the clinch.
Ryomou has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Master after a bit of a struggle.
Ryomou keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Master's efforts to push away.
Ryomou tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ko Master has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Ryomou.

Master is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ryomou can't fight it off and eventually Master manages to take the fight to the floor. Ryomou looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ryomou looking for a guillotine here but Master defends easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Master throwing strikes but missing.

Ryomou tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Master stands and steps away. Ryomou gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
A big right from Master misses.
Master misses with a few strikes there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ryomou.
Ko Master seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ryomou looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Master knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryomou on the ground.
Ryomou tries to pass to full mount but Master defends it.
Ryomou is trying to control the action in half guard but Master is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryomou wants to pass the guard but Master is defending well.
Master on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Master tries to get out of the position.
Master pushes Ryomou off looking to stand but Ryomou dives back in and keeps control.
Ryomou frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Master has given up his back.
Ryomou scores with punches and elbows.
Master is breathing heavily.
Ryomou cracks Master with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Master from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Ryomou is looking for the choke from the back position but Master is controlling his hands well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ryomou has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Master is defending well but eventually Ryomou manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Master has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
