Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominic Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jardine but Jardine pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jardine leaves Ramirez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jardine feints and then cracks Ramirez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ramirez down.

Ramirez moves into the clinch successfully.

Ramirez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That kick from Jardine tenderised Ramirez's leg. Ramirez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jardine tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jardine. That's going to slow Ramirez down.
Nice sprawl there from Jardine as Ramirez shoots in.

Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jardine as he avoids it easily.

Jardine thuds a left hand into Ramirez's body.
Ramirez needs to keep his hands up - Jardine had a free shot at his head there.
Ramirez blocks the body kick.
Ramirez shoots for a takedown but Jardine saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ramirez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Nice uppercut lands for Jardine. That snapped Ramirez's head back.
Ramirez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ramirez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jardine throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chuck Jardine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jardine lands a leg kick that knocks Ramirez off balance momentarily.

Jardine is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Ramirez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ramirez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jardine clobbers Ramirez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ramirez takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Ramirez moves into range and clinches up with Jardine.

Ramirez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

A short uppercut from Jardine.
Jardine prevents Ramirez from breaking the clinch.

Jardine pushes off an throws an elbow but Ramirez leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ramirez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ramirez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jardine is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ramirez.

Ramirez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ramirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jardine tries to avoid it but Ramirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jardine to the ground. Jardine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jardine uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ramirez has time to react.
Ramirez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ramirez misses with a takedown attempt - Jardine sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Jardine. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jardine.

Ramirez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ramirez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jardine, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
