The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shooke misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shooke moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gashiko clinches with his opponent.
Gashiko scores with a shoulder strike.
That has opened up Raoul Shooke's cut even more.
Shooke fails to pull guard.
Shooke looks gassed!
Gashiko scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Shooke drags the fight down to the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gashiko tries to free his leg and advance position but Shooke is retaining full guard.

Machette Gashiko has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Shooke takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Machette Gashiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shooke uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gashiko.
Shooke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gashiko throws out the jab.
No luck for Shooke with that takedown attempt.
Machette Gashiko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raoul Shooke.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Gashiko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Shooke ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shooke tries for a takedown but Gashiko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gashiko cracks Shooke with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Gashiko throws the left hand but Shooke avoids the punch easily.
Shooke is breathing heavily.
Gashiko moves into the clinch.
Gashiko jumps into guard, dragging Shooke to the mat.

Gashiko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gashiko tries to get out of the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Raoul Shooke was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Shooke takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gashiko lands with a hook. Shooke tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Shooke is rocked!

Gashiko connects with a body shot.
Shooke is still on wobbly legs! Can Gashiko finish him?
Gashiko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
