The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderhorst misses with a wild combination.

Corleone shoots in for a double leg but Vanderhorst sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A looping hook to the body misses from Corleone. Vanderhorst does a little dance to reset his feet.
Corleone stalks Vanderhorst and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vanderhorst's face. Vanderhorst staggers backwards, shaken.
A solid leg kick lands there for Vanderhorst.

Rutledge Vanderhorst is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Vanderhorst lands a nice looking kick to the body. Corleone takes a step back to recover.

Vanderhorst swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Corleone.

Sloppy strikes from Corleone. Those never looked like landing.
Oh Corleone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vanderhorst's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Corleone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vanderhorst scrambles back to his feet.
Corleone is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Vanderhorst doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Corleone crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Corleone's bad books for that mishap!
