Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogerio dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Steven might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Hip To Be Square," by Huey Lewis and the News. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Santos swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Steven wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by dos Santos, who protects the arm well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Steven shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with dos Santos but dos Santos pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Steven feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mike Steven is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
dos Santos lands a brutal head kick. Steven looks out on his feet and dos Santos throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
