PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Dulin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy comes to the cage accompanied by Mother. Dulin has chosen Slipknot - Before I Forget as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dulin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dulin. Guy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Guy misses with a right hand

Guy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dulin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Guy tries for a takedown but Dulin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Guy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dulin swivels and escapes.
Dulin lands a body shot.
Dulin digs a good body shot into Guy's ribs.
Guy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dulin avoids it really well and circles away.

Dulin lands a nice hook to Guy's body. Guy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Guy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Guy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dulin but Dulin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dulin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Dulin feints a jab promting Guy to slip. Dulin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Guy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Guy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Dulin throws out a leg kick but Guy moves out of range and Dulin only half commits.

Dulin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dulin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Guy manages to avoid it.
Guy loads up on a big right hand but Dulin slips the punch.

Guy looks to score with a jab to the body but Dulin is just out of range.

Guy throws a hook to the side of Dulin's head but Dulin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dulin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Dulin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Guy misses with a takedown attempt - Dulin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A jab lands there for Dulin.
Dulin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dulin throws out a powerful jab.

Guy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Dulin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Guy has time to react.
Guy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dulin lands the left hand.
Dulin lands a nice shot that snaps Guy's head back.

Guy is rocked!
Guy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Oh Guy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dulin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Guy momentarily.

Dulin drops Guy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Guy looks back up at him and smiles so Dulin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dulin cracks Guy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Guy falls backwards against the cage. Dulin follows up with more strikes that drop Guy to his knees. Dulin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Guy! This one is all over!
