Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between CJ Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Tynin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tynin's waist but Tynin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riley off to one side.

Riley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tynin is trying to keep an underhook but Riley manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Riley thows a huge punch but Tynin dodges it nicely.

Riley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Riley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tynin manages to get back to half guard.

Riley is working for a kimura but Tynin is defending it quite comfortably.

Riley advances to half guard.
Riley is keen to just control but Tynin is a slippery customer.
Riley is breathing heavily.
Tynin moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tynin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Riley stays in close to Tynin's body and controls the position.
Riley is looking to work some ground and pound but Tynin has wrist control.

Tynin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tynin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riley is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Riley takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tynin digs a good body shot into Riley's ribs.
Tynin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Tynin counters with a three punch combo that has Riley backing up. Riley nods at Tynin to acknowledge the strikes.

Tynin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Riley is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tynin yanks on the arm and Riley is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tynin.
