Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with On the Eve of War blaring out of the sound system. White is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Atreyu- You were the king, now your unconcsious. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Jones drives through and clinches with White against the ropes.
Jones lands with a right to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for White.
Jones misses with the head strike.
White goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
White swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones is looking to control White's arms but White gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the ropes.
White struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.
White wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jones blocking some punches.
Still in the clinch, White scores with a nice short uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones keeps control of White as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

White throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
White tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

A frustrated look appears on White's face as he tries to break the clinch.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White misses the shot to the body.
White ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Some wild striking there from White.
White swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.

Jones throws a lazy right hand but White sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
White throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Jones plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
White cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs.
Jones wants to land a leg kick but White is out of range.
White scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Russell Jones has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones misses with a low kick as White jumps back.
White closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jones is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
White connects with the punch.

Jones is rocked!

White scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones is breathing heavily.
BOOM! White lands a beautiful left hook that drops Jones. Jones tries to recover but White is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Jones lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
