Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikki Tavarius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavarius comes to the ring accompanied by Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Coming. Jackson has chosen Who let the dogs out? as his entrance music. Rikki Tavarius had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavarius misses with a body shot.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tavarius manages to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Tavarius throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tavarius fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jackson checks it well.
Tavarius drops his hands momentarily and Jackson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Jackson. That snapped Tavarius's head back.
Tavarius wants to clinch but Jackson slips to the side
letting Jackson counter with a right hand.
Tavarius ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
Tavarius throws a low kick but Jackson avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Tavarius does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tavarius dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Tavarius's head and hops out.

Tavarius tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Tavarius tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Jackson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Tavarius swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Tavarius has a couple of punches blocked by Jackson.

Jackson breaks the clinch.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tavarius connects with a single shot there.

Tavarius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tavarius will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

After the fight, Denton Jackson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
