The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendayko looks to land a left hand but Silvia moved out of range nicely.

Silvia wants to pass to mount but Hendayko is defending the position.
Silvia is trying to control. Hendayko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hendayko tries to kick Silvia off but Silvia keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Armando Silvia wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Silvia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hendayko's waist but Hendayko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silvia off to one side.

Silvia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hendayko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silvia has managed to get both his arms back between Hendayko's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
