Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Tabs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Cornegy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jesus Tabs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jesus Tabs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesus Tabs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Cornegy!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Cornegy coming out on top.
Tabs looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Tabs gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tabs is defended easily by Cornegy.
Tabs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cornegy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tabs looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tabs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tabs trying to control the position but Cornegy is working away.

Cornegy tries to escape but Tabs is in control.

Tabs working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cornegy is not content to let Tabs control the position.

Tabs has an Americana. Cornegy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tabs is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tabs hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
