The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kostytsin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Adams prevents Kostytsin from improving position.

Kostytsin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kostytsin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Adams manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kostytsin's best efforts.
Kostytsin is trying to control the action in half guard but Adams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kostytsin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Adams knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Adams is refusing to be controlled, as Kostytsin sits in half guard.
Kostytsin moves into full mount! Adams won't be happy about that!

Adams keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kostytsin is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Adams is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Adams flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kostytsin anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Adams and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kostytsin slips an arm under Adams chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kostytsin has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kostytsin is squeezing on Adams like an anaconda would it's prey. Adams fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
