Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazuo Haruki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haruki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Battle Without Honor Or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei. The key to victory for Kazuo Haruki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine shoots in for a double leg but Haruki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Haruki closes the distance and clinches.
Haruki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Valentine fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Valentine closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Haruki to the mat! Haruki manages to get full guard.

Valentine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haruki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Valentine is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Haruki has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Valentine is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Haruki is defending well though. Valentine let's go of the attempt for now.

Valentine is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Haruki defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Valentine looking to break Haruki's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Haruki remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Valentine will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Haruki is trying to defend against the choke here but Valentine has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Valentine Tightens the hold and Haruki taps out furiously! Valentine displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
