PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobo Breznekov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Frankie Edgar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Breznekov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Edgar was covering up waiting for the punch and Breznekov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Breznekov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Edgar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Edgar's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Breznekov is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Edgar knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Edgar for a finish.
