The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza takes one to the side of the head.
Sklyar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mendoza as he jumps to the side.
Mendoza has Sklyar up against the cage in a clinch.
Sklyar tries to work over Mendoza's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Mendoza lands an elbow just above Sklyar 's eye.

That was a close round but I would say that Miquel Mendoza will probably get the nod.
