The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiang misses with a takedown attempt
and Rua counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Chiang wants to sweep but no luck.
Chiang manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Chiang throwing strikes here but Rua is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Chiang forces the positional change into back control.
Chiang is looking to control Rua but Rua is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Chiang has his arm under Rua's chin here. Game over son! Chiang squeezes tightly and Rua is forced to tap out!
