Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Logan Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Riori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel Riori has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Riori defends it nicely.
Creed closes the distance and clinches up with Riori, looking for a takedown. Creed pushes Riori against the cage but Riori circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Riori fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Creed manages to avoid it.
Riori misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Creed.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Logan Creed. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Creed throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Riori tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Creed is in Riori's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Creed gets to his feet. Riori looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Creed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Riori postures up in Creed's guard and throws a big left but Creed blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Creed will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Logan Creed.
