The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Washer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Yeung is doing well to control the position and prevent Washer from advancing to side control.

Washer wants to work for an arm triangle but Yeung is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Washeris looking to pass into half guard but Yeung pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Yeung is in guard.

Yeung uses his free foot to push down on Washer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Washer.
Yeung takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
