Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zulu Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald has chosen Kanye West - Stronger as his entrance music. Zulu Chaka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Zulu Chaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Glen McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald checks a low kick from Chaka.
Chaka displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McDonald.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Chaka.
McDonald tries a head kick but it misses.
McDonald throws a head kick that misses.
Chaka scoring well with a low kick there.
Some bone on bone action there as McDonald checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McDonald tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chaka swivels and escapes.
Chaka punishes McDonald's body with a nice straight punch.
McDonald looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chaka clobbers McDonald with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

McDonald dives in and scores a takedown into Chaka's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

McDonald is fighting to break Chaka's control of his arms but Chaka is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
McDonald has gone for a leg lock! Chaka slips out almost immediately though and dives into McDonald's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McDonald is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chaka defends well.

McDonald looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Chaka is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chaka has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
McDonald is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McDonald working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Chaka has passed into half guard!
McDonald has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McDonald is defending against the submission attempts here by Chaka.

Chaka tries to pass to full mount but McDonald defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDonald makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McDonald.

Chaka finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Zulu Chaka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen McDonald.

McDonald tries for a takedown but Chaka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A head kick by McDonald misses
and Chaka counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McDonald is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Chaka.
McDonald on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chaka. Chaka obviously looking to wear him down.
Chaka lands with a kick to the temple. McDonald shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Glen McDonald has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chaka lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
McDonald is rocked!
McDonald switches off momentarily and Chaka cracks him with a monster right hand! McDonald topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Chaka dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Chaka!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zulu Chaka!
