The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ass sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ass defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Simpson.
Ass misses with a two punch combination.
Simpson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ass lands with an uppercut that bounces Simpson off the cage and back into range.
Simpson swats away the attempt to clinch by Ass.
Simpson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ass napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Simpson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Ass is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
