Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uale Mai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case throws a hook but Mai blocks it.
Mai fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Case looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mai lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Case backs up against the cage.
Case fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mai swats away the attempt to clinch by Case.
Case walks into a stiff left hand from Mai.
Case shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mai as he jumps to the side.
Mai keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mai jabs at Case's body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mai.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mai!
Mai connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Case momentarily.
Mai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Case wants to clinch.

Mai takes a swing at Case's ribcage but misses.
Uale Mai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mai looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Case avoids a punch combination nicely.
Case closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Case moves in looking to clinch but Mai pushes him off.
Case fails in his attempt to clinch.
Case walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Case shoots in but no luck this time.

Mai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Case throws out the jab.
Mai misses with an uppercut. Case saw that one coming.
Case darts in trying to clinch
and Mai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mai will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Case wants to clinch
and Mai counters with a nice uppercut.
Case lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mai's sensitive parts.
Mai lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Case circles away quickly and effectively.
Mai moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Case wants to clinch
and Case takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Mai tests Case's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mai scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Case has managed to clinch.
Mai is trying to push Case away but Case has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Case just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mai's brow.
Mai looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Mai is trying to force a seperation but Case has the dominant position.
Case tries to land knees in the clinch but Mai avoids the damage to the body.
Case looking to slow down the pace here.
Case misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mai.

Mai wants the takedown. Case is fighting it off but Mai persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Case's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Case swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Case is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Case. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Case keeping moving, preventing Mai from controlling successfully.

Mai is looking to work some ground and pound but Case has wrist control.
Mai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mai is looking to advance position but Case has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Case is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Case!

A relieved looking Henry Case thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
