The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Troyer shoots in but Bernie avoids the takedown attempt easily.
De Troyer throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
De Troyer shoots in and drives through. Bernie sprawls well.
Bernie is looking to clinch but De Troyer is avoiding it.
De Troyer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bernie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Bryan Bernie has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Troyer sizes up Bernie with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bernie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bernie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bernie looks gassed!
De Troyer lands a jab.
De Troyer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Troyer looks to throw the jab but Bernie is out of range.
De Troyer digs a good body shot into Bernie's ribs.
De Troyer loads up on a big right hand but Bernie slips the punch.
De Troyer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice jab there from De Troyer.
Bernie gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! De Troyer gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Olivier De Troyer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
