Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Irenicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irenicus comes into the arena with Cloakwood Forest blaring out of the sound system. Santiago comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Trapt - Headstrong kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago tries for a takedown but Irenicus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Irenicus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Santiago quickly recovers to half guard.
Irenicus wants to work for an arm triangle but Santiago is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Santiago tries to roll over but Irenicus keeps him under control.
Irenicus is controlling the pace.
