The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovrov lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Kiyoshi Tamura has been cut.
Tamura moves away from the strike by Kovrov.
Kovrov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slow jab from Kovrov misses its intended target.
Tamura fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tamura tries to clinch up but Kovrov circles away and keeps his distance.

Kovrov drops Tamura with a beautiful combination! Tamura stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kovrov is looking for the KO!

Kovrov lands with a good body shot.
Kovrov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tamura blocks a head kick by Kovrov.

Kovrov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tamura takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Kovrov circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Tamura tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Kovrov wins by KO!
