The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gamboa lands with a straight right. Pour Nick didn't see that one coming.
Pour Nick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gamboa manages to avoid it.
Pour Nick on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gamboa lands a nice hook to Pour Nick's body. Pour Nick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gamboa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pour Nick.
Pour Nick takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gamboa connects with a body shot.
Gamboa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Vartan Pour Nick has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pour Nick with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gamboa to score with a decent uppercut.
Pour Nick takes a swing at Gamboa's ribcage but misses.
Gamboa throws a series of punches but Pour Nick avoids them all with ease.
The crowd cheers as Gamboa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pour Nick doesn't seem phased though.

Gamboa lands with a straight right. Pour Nick didn't see that one coming.
Pour Nick is still on wobbly legs! Can Gamboa finish him?
Pour Nick throws a wild hook but Gamboa just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Pour Nick gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Gamboa raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
