The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robitaille misses with a takedown attempt - Chabal sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chabal looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Robitaille rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chabal moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Robitaille fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chabal avoids it really well and circles away.
Robitaille lands a left and a right that sends Chabal crashing to the canvas! Robitaille dives into mount looking to finish!
Chabal is rocked!
It looks like Sebastien Chabal has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
A big strike lands for Robitaille! That's really hurt Chabal and he's turned his back - Robitaille keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Robitaille jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frederic Robitaille!
