The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sanchez is trying to defend but Lesnar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lesnar looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanchez keeps working.
Lesnar prevents Sanchez from improving his position.

Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Lesnar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sanchez tries to get to full guard but Lesnar has control of the leg.

Lesnar thows a huge punch but Sanchez dodges it nicely.

Lesnar is trying to control the action in half guard but Sanchez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lesnar is nestled in close to Sanchez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez is trying to control but can't.
Lesnar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Lesnar is trying to get an arm triangle but Sanchez is defending well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sanchez is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lesnar off and has taken his back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Sanchez doesn't have the hooks in and Lesnar manages to turn into his guard.
Lesnar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sanchez controls Lesnar momentarily but Lesnar frees himself.
Sanchez has his foot on Lesnar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lesnar works his way back into a safe position though.
Lesnar stands up over Sanchez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lesnar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lesnar lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Lesnar is looking to advance position but Sanchez has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Sanchez has hold of Lesnar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lesnar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
