Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Meatstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meatstock comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Not Afraid . Battle has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Andre Battle enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lou Meatstock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andre Battle!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meatstock lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


It looks like Andre Battle has been cut.
Battle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Meatstock counters with a series of strikes. Battle will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Battle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Meatstock was well out of range. Poor timing from Battle.

Meatstock swings for the body but Battle moves out of range.
Meatstock throws a series of punches but Battle avoids them all with ease.

Battle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Meatstock was covering up waiting for the punch and Battle finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Meatstock might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Battle trying to control the position from guard on top but Meatstock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Meatstock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Andre Battle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Meatstock slips a jab and a cross from Battle.

Battle has closed the distance and engaged Meatstock in a clinch.
Meatstock has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Battle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Meatstock takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Meatstock leaves Battle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Battle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Meatstock throws out a loose jab but Battle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Meatstock moves out of range of the leg kick from Battle.
Meatstock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Battle pinned against the cage. Battle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Battle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Battle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Meatstock.
No joy there for Meatstock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Meatstock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Battle is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Meatstock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Meatstock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Battle circles away quickly and effectively.

Battle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Meatstock sprawls well initially but Battle persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Battle slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Battle chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Meatstock softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Battle is out cold! Meatstock jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lou Meatstock!
A less than humble Lou Meatstock misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
