Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Bonaza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaza misses with an attempted mid kick.
Johnson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bonaza throws a head kick that half lands.
Johnson misses with a hook
and Bonaza counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bonaza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Bonaza's shoulder, as Bonaza tries to avoid the shot.
Johnson checks the leg kick.
Bonaza throws a big shot that misses.
Bonaza lands a leg kick that knocks Johnson off balance momentarily.
Johnson lands a jab to the nose.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bonaza tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Bonaza.
Bonaza takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bonaza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Bonaza's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bonaza scrambles back to his feet.
Johnson misses the jab.
Carlos Bonaza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bonaza misses with a few strikes there.
Bonaza connects with a high kick.
Bonaza throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Bonaza moves away and avoids it.
Bonaza throws a low kick but it's checked well by Johnson.
Bonaza slips under a jab from Johnson.
Johnson works the jab nicely.
Johnson throws out a loose jab but Bonaza uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bonaza throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
The crowd cheers as Bonaza lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johnson doesn't seem phased though.
Bonaza looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.

Johnson throws an off balance right hand
and Bonaza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A good leg kick by Bonaza.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bonaza walks straight into a right hand from Johnson - that's dropped him! Johnson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bonaza from any more punishment! Bonaza complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
