The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tsung.
Mamen misses with a takedown attempt - Tsung sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mamen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mamen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tsung as he avoids it easily.
Tsung scores with a nice body kick.
Mamen misses with a wild combination.
Mamen is breathing heavily.
Mamen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tsung scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mamen misses with a double jab.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tsung.
Tsung avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mamen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Tsung has closed the distance and engaged Mamen in a clinch.
Mamen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tsung has him pressed against the cage.
Tsung goes for a takedown attempt but Mamen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mamen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mamen tries to bum rush Tsung with a series of wild strikes but Tsung uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ads Mamen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tsung forces Mamen back against the cage and clinches.
Tsung goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mamen prevents it.
Ads Mamen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shang Tsung.

Tsung is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mamen has his hands clasped together but Tsung extends an breaks Mamen's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tsung.
