Simmons keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Simmons moves into the clinch successfully.
Nielsen keeps control of Simmons as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Manny Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Simmons clobbers Nielsen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Nielsen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Simmons, who protects the arm well.
Nielsen is looking to take a break and control but Simmons is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
