Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matti Moukari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matti Moukari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orlando Melendez!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moukari closes the distance looking to clinch
and Melendez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Melendez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Melendez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Melendez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Moukari is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Moukari has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moukari trying to stand up but can't free himself from Melendez's guard.
Melendez looking for a guillotine here but Moukari defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Melendez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Moukari uses it to pass to side control.
Melendez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Melendez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Melendez gets back to full guard.
Melendez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Moukari is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Melendez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Moukari is looking to defend but Melendez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Moukari! Melendez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Moukari taps out and this one is all over!
