Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaque Kreed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gordon Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blaque Kreed!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Ramsey.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ramsey.
Gordon Ramsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kreed shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ramsey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ramsey throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kreed blocks it with crossed arms.
Kreed is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ramsey pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Ramsey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ramsey stuffs the takedown attempt from Kreed. Kreed gets slowly back to his feet.

Ramsey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kreed manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kreed wants to take a breather but Ramsey is having none of it.
Kreed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ramsey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kreed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kreed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramsey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kreed has managed to get both his arms back between Ramsey's legs - danger averted.

Ramsey scrambles and gets back to his feet.

and Ramsey counters with a series of strikes. Kreed will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kreed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ramsey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ramsey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kreed was well out of range. Poor timing from Ramsey.
Ramsey throws a leg kick which misses Kreed's front leg but catches the back leg as Kreed tries to avoid it.

and Ramsey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ramsey throws a head kick but Kreed moves out of range.

Ramsey drives through with a takedown into Kreed's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ramsey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ramsey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kreed has hold of Ramsey's hands but Ramsey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ramsey wants to work for an arm triangle but Kreed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ramsey thows a huge punch but Kreed dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Kreed dives in and grabs Ramsey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramsey pushes down on Kreed's head and hops out.

Ramsey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ramsey gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Kreed counters with a head kick. That will keep Ramsey thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Ramsey will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ramsey throws a front kick aimed at Kreed's knee but Kreed avoids it well.
Ramsey shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Kreed is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ramsey is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kreed.

Ramsey clinches up with Kreed and pushes him back against the cage.

Kreed takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ramsey lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kreed has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kreed and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kreed looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kreed is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ramsey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramsey drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kreed looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kreed looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kreed!

Ramsey sneaks back into half guard.

After the fight, Gordon Ramsey was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
