Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manson Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright comes to the cage accompanied by The Distillers - Drain the Blood. Manson Wright could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zacharius Pendragon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wright closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wright lands in his opponent's guard.

Pendragon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pendragon swings for the body but Wright moves out of range.
Wright tries for a takedown but Pendragon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pendragon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pendragon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wright's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Zacharius Pendragon has got the better of the ground game so far.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

I would just about give that final round to Zacharius Pendragon.
Well Pendragon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
