Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zeus Mesus!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riordan lands a right hook to the body.
Mesus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Riordan connects with a body shot that sends Mesus's belly button to the back.
Mesus walks into a straight right hand from Riordan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Riordan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Mesus takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mesus looks gassed!
Riordan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Riordan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Good exchange - Riordan coming out on top.
Mesus is rocked!
Riordan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mesus sprawling to the canvas! Mesus rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Riordan finish him?!
Mesus is still on wobbly legs! Can Riordan finish him?
Tommy Riordan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riordan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mesus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mesus backs away from a small jab... but Riordan lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Mesus crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Riordan with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Tommy Riordan!
