Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Sheen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Boyko!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheen tries to clinch but Boyko moves out of range.
Sheen shoots in and drives through. Boyko sprawls well.

Boyko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sheen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Boyko in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Boyko decides to stand back up. Boyko steps back and let's Sheen get back to his feet.
Boyko is looking to score with low kicks.
Boyko misses with a head kick.
Sheen lands a slapping body shot.
Sheen tries to clinch

and Boyko counters with a shoot takedown. Sheen fights it but they end up in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boyko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sheen is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Yuri Boyko.

Boyko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sheen was covering up waiting for the punch and Boyko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyko tries to free his leg and advance position but Sheen is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boyko passes Sheen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Boyko is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Boyko is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Boyko works his way into side control.
Sheen is trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Boyko decides to stand back up.

Boyko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boyko lands in his opponent's guard.
Boyko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Boyko advances to half guard.
Sheen is looking for a sweep. Boyko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Boyko is trying to work for a kimura but Sheen is defending well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Boyko in particular looking to stall.
Boyko prevents Sheen from improving his position.
Boyko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boyko passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sheen!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Boyko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Boyko is controlling the pace.
Sheen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boyko on the ground.
Boyko passes to side control.
Boyko advances to full mount.
Sheen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boyko stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Boyko shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sheen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sheen seems a little lost for a moment, as Boyko dominates the positioning.
Boyko advances to full mount.
Boyko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Boyko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Boyko is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyko engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Boyko pushes down on Sheen's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Boyko decides to stand up.

Boyko forces Sheen back against the cage and clinches.

Boyko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boyko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sheen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Boyko is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sheen is striking from the bottom but Boyko uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boyko connects with a nice short shot to Sheen's temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boyko passes the guard and advances to mount!

Yuri Boyko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Boyko jumps guard and drags Sheen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Boyko pulls Sheen in close to prevent any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Boyko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sheen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boyko is controlling Sheen's posture.
Boyko lands some strikes from the bottom.
Boyko has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Yuri Boyko.
Sheen wants to clinch up but Boyko keeps it at a distance.
Sheen misses with a takedown attempt - Boyko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sheen fails in his attempt to clinch.

Boyko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sheen's guard.
Yuri Boyko has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boyko works over Sheen with some ground and pound from guard.
Boyko content to stall in guard here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boyko passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Boyko is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sheen's shoulder. That is not cool.

Boyko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boyko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sheen is being controlled here.

Sheen is trying to control Boyko's posture but Boyko avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Boyko is trying to get an arm triangle but Sheen is defending well.
Charlie Sheen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Yuri Boyko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Yuri Boyko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Boyko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
