Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arthur Green!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gribov gets tackled into the cage by Green. Green maintains the clinch.
Green is pushing Gribov up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Nice body punch from Green - that landed with a thud.
Gribov prevents Green from breaking the clinch.
Gribov tries to pull guard but Green holds him up against the cage and eventually Gribov drops back down to his feet.

Green is trying to trip Gribov. He has hold of a leg but Gribov is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Green persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Green working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Gribov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Green passes into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like Green is going to stand back up.

Green stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gribov to get to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Green stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gribov.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gribov lands with a good body shot.
Gribov throws a body punch but Green moves out of range.
Gribov swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Green feints and as Gribov raises his hands in defense, Green changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Green decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gribov, up you get!

Green manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gribov on his heels. He'll look to pass Gribov's guard now, I'm sure.

Gribov is looking for a triangle but Green pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gribov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Green frees his head nicely. Oh but Gribov has switched to an armbar! Green is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
