PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pentti Hilkuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wolfe's choice of entrance music: The Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop!. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilkuri keeps Wolfe at a distance using the push kick.

Wolfe cracks Hilkuri with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Hilkuri from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Wolfe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wolfe is looking for a choke. Hilkuri gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Hilkuri manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Pentti Hilkuri will probably get the nod.
