The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed moves out of range of the strikes.
Baltazar throws a big shot that misses.
Speed throws a sloppy head kick and Baltazar moves out of range easily.
Baltazar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Baltazar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Speed fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Baltazar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Baltazar sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Speed moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Speed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Baltazar moves out of range as Speed throws a body kick.

Speed fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Baltazar.
Speed pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Baltazar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Speed.
Brutus Baltazar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Speed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baltazar pinned against the ropes. Baltazar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Speed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Speed misses with a body kick.
Speed dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Baltazar. That did some damage!
Baltazar looks to throw the jab but Speed is out of range.
Speed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baltazar but Baltazar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Speed lands with a thumping leg kick.
Speed pushes Baltazar away with a front kick.
Speed tries to land a front kick but Baltazar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
