Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luta Livre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Body Head Anthem. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luta Livre!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves wants to clinch.
Livre misses with a takedown attempt - Alves sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alves moves into the clinch.
Livre pulls guard.
Livre wants to sweep but no luck.
Livre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Alves stands up from Livre's guard - Alves perhaps looking for a knockout.
Livre paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Livre shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alves but Alves pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alves pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Livre gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Livre breaks from the clinch.
Alves misses with a series of wild punches.
Livre changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Alves does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Livre misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Michael Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luta Livre.
Livre manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Alves on his heels. He'll look to pass Alves's guard now, I'm sure.
Livre trying to control but Alves is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Livre passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Livre grinds an elbow into Alves's temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee asks Livre politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Livre prefers to stall for the moment though.
Livre advances nicely into full mount.
Alves reaches up to try and control the position but Livre seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Alves rolls and tries to escape and now Livre has his back!
Livre has his arm under Alves's chin here. Game over son! Livre squeezes tightly and Alves is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Luta Livre!
