The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Republic lands with a nice body kick.
Republic is looking to chop away at Shillings's legs.
Republic closes the distance looking to clinch
and Shillings counters with a right hand to the body.
Stack Shillings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Republic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Shillings throws a leg kick but Republic sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Republic wants to clinch up but Shillings keeps it at a distance.
Republic swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Republic misses with an uppercut. Shillings saw that one coming.
Shillings just misses with a punch to the body.
Shillings fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Republic manages to avoid it.
Republic misses with a looping left.
Shillings is looking to wear down Republic with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Shillings moves out of range of the body kick from Republic.
Nice uppercut lands for Shillings. That snapped Republic's head back.

and Shillings counters with a right hand to the body.
Republic looks gassed!
Shillings moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Shillings lands a big head kick that sends Republic tumbling to the mat! Shillings takes a step backwards and waves Republic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Republic is rocked!

It looks like Wang Republic has been cut.
Republic on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Republic is still on wobbly legs! Can Shillings finish him?

Republic seems to have recovered his senses.
Shillings is stalking Republic. Republic circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Shillings, and it's lights out! Republic really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Stack Shillings decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
