Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sakuraba Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winnie Pooh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakurai comes to the cage accompanied by the sexwagon shuffle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sakurai takes a swing at Pooh's ribcage but misses.

Sakurai scores with a one two! Pooh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sakurai's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sakurai duly obliges.

Pooh shoots in but Sakurai avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sakuraba Sakurai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winnie Pooh.

Pooh looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sakurai won't allow Pooh to pass to mount.
Sakurai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sakurai.
Pooh thows a big elbow that misses.

Pooh has gone for a leg lock! Sakurai slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pooh's guard.
Pooh wants to sweep here but Sakurai controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pooh keeping busy on the bottom but Sakurai has passed one foot through into half guard.
Sakurai seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Pooh is trying to get back to full guard.
Pooh moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sakurai is sitting in close to Pooh's body. Pooh has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sakurai is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sakurai is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pooh.
