The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rios sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Arlovski buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rios on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Rios avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Arlovski throws a right and a left that Rios avoids nicely.

Arlovski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rios.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Arlovski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rios feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Arlovski sprawling to the canvas! Arlovski rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rios finish him?!

Narcaleptic Arlovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rios lets loose with a powerful body kick. Arlovski will feel that in the morning.
Rios throws a front kick that sends Arlovski stumbling back into the cage.
Rios looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Rios backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Arlovski's temple! It sends Arlovski violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Rios celebrates and the doctors try to help Arlovski!
