Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Cayro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alkofer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jump Jump - Busta Rhymes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Calvin Cayro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer throws a leg kick but Cayro checks it.
Alkofer throws a jab when Cayro was well out of range.
Alkofer throws a low kick but Cayro moves out of range easily.
Cayro closes the distance and clinches up with Alkofer, looking for a takedown. Cayro pushes Alkofer against the cage but Alkofer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Alkofer is looking to slow Cayro down with leg kicks.
Cayro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alkofer but Alkofer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alkofer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cayro sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alkofer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Alkofer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cayro knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cayro is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Alkofer wants to work for an arm triangle but Cayro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Luke Alkofer dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cayro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Alkofer finds it's way round the side to connect with Cayro's head.

OH! Cayro has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Alkofer smells blood and charges in for the finish! Alkofer unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Cayro sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
