Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Lyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jitsu has chosen Nikkfurie- The a la Menthe as his entrance music. The key to victory for Brandon Lyon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Lyon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jitsu shoots in and bounces Lyon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jitsu controlling from the top position.
Jitsu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jitsu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lyon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lyon keeping moving, preventing Jitsu from controlling successfully.
Jitsu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jitsu's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jiu Jitsu wasn't active enough on the ground.
Lyon connects with a solid leg kick.
Jitsu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jitsu dives in and scores a takedown into Lyon's guard.
Jitsu looking to sit in guard and control but Lyon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jitsu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lyon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jitsu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lyon is looking to defend but Jitsu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lyon! Jitsu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lyon taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jiu Jitsu!
