The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
S throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Brown finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
S throws a head kick that misses.
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
S lands with a thumping leg kick.
S wants to clinch.
S tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ryu S seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
S falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Brown counter with a right hand.
Brown connects with a looping right hand.
S fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brown throws a nice inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

S throws a push kick but Brown slaps the foot to one side.
A slapping leg kick lands for Brown.
Brown connects with the punch.
Brown checks a low kick from S.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as S checks a leg kick.
Brown takes a swing at S's ribcage but misses.
S throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Brown fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Brown moves out of range of the body kick from S.
Nice uppercut there from S.
Brown misses with an uppercut. S saw that one coming.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
S throws a right and a left that Brown avoids nicely.
A good leg kick by S.
Brown throws out a loose jab but S uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
S closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Brown lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
S takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A shot to the liver by S. Beautiful body shot.
S looks for the body kick but Brown saw that one coming.
S is breathing heavily.
Brown cracks S with a right hand to the side of the head.

S throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Brown scores with a counter punch that sends S to the canvas! Brown smells blood - he's punishing S with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! S has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
