The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber tries to work over Clark's front leg with a kick but Clark checks it.
David Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Clark misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Faber tries to bum rush Clark with a series of wild strikes but Clark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Clark tries to clinch up but Faber circles away and keeps his distance.
Faber fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Clark on the side of the head.
Clark is looking to clinch but Faber is avoiding it.

Faber shoots in and bounces Clark off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Faber wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.

Faber decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Faber lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Clark tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Faber scores with a counter punch that sends Clark to the canvas! Faber smells blood - he's punishing Clark with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Clark has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
