Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carling Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Farr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Farr's choice of entrance music: Welsh National Anthem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Carling Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Farr!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Farr. Those never looked like landing.
Farr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foster manages to avoid it.
A shot to the liver by Farr. Beautiful body shot.
Farr swinging wildly here.
Farr tests Foster's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Farr misses with a body shot.
Farr scores with a punch to the head.
Farr connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Farr lands a nice looking body shot.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown but Farr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Foster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Farr lands with a straight right. Foster didn't see that one coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Foster closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Foster takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tommy Farr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Farr takes a swing at Foster's ribcage but misses.
Foster lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Farr misses with a wild body shot.
Farr misses the shot to the body.
Farr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Foster.
Nice uppercut there from Farr.
Sloppy strikes from Farr. Those never looked like landing.
Foster misses with a kick to the body.
Foster shoots in for a takedown but Farr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Farr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Farr misses the jab.

Farr connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Farr lands with a nice body punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No joy there for Farr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Farr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Foster tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Farr swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carling Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foster walks into a stiff left hand from Farr.
Good exchange - Farr coming out on top.

Farr gets caught napping as Foster dives in and scores a takedown. Farr manages to retain guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but Farr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Foster postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Farr is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Foster, into his guard.

Farr wants to stand but Foster is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Carling Foster wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Foster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Farr's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Foster is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Farr has managed to free his arm - good work.
Foster perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Farr pushes Foster off looking to stand but Foster dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Foster throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Foster throwing shots but Farr is blocking nicely.

Foster is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy Farr dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Foster takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Foster shoots in and drives through. Farr sprawls well.

Foster scores a takedown into full mount!

Foster is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Farr can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Farr tries to buck Foster off but he can't manage it.

Foster swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Farr is now in Foster's guard. A big mistake from Foster there, giving up the dominant position!

Foster isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Farr stacks Foster on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Farr!
You can see the frustration on Foster's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Farr decides to stand back up. Farr steps back and let's Foster get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Farr takes a swing at Foster's ribcage but misses.
Farr throws a solid leg kick but Foster takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Farr.
Farr darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Farr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Foster closes this distance looking for a takedown but Farr circles away.

Foster misses with a low kick.
A big right from Farr misses.
Farr lands a jab to the nose.
Foster takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Farr misses with a few strikes there.

Farr lands a jab.
Farr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Farr thuds a left hand into Foster's body.
Foster tries for a takedown but Farr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carling Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farr stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Farr wants it to stay on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Farr works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Farr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Foster fails to land the takedown.
Foster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Farr looks to land a combination. Foster sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


Foster is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Farr lands a jab to Foster's midsection.
Farr just misses with a punch to the body.
Farr is looking to score with low kicks.
Farr misses with a low kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foster.
Farr swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Farr dodges the punch combination from Foster.
Farr misses with a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy Farr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Foster throws a low kick, looking for Farr's leg but Farr calmly moves out of range.
Foster has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Foster there as he acknowledges the shot.
Farr lands a head shot.
Oh Foster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Farr throws a body punch but Foster moves out of range.
Farr lands a really nice looking cross but Foster seems unphased.
Farr circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Foster tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Farr wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tommy Farr!
