The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvain throws a right and a left that ORiordan avoids nicely.
Silvain lands with a kick to the temple. ORiordan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Silvain ducks right into an uppercut from ORiordan.

It looks like Tiago Silvain has been cut.
ORiordan throws a looping overhand right but Silvain ducks down to avoid it.

ORiordan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Silvain lands a big head kick that sends ORiordan tumbling to the mat! Silvain takes a step backwards and waves ORiordan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
ORiordan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Silvain is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for ORiordan.

ORiordan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silvain connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! ORiordan scrambles back to his feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! ORiordan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silvain - the referee stops the clock and ORiordan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silvain. ORiordan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silvain looks to land a right hand but ORiordan moved out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
