The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Troyer ducks under a wild hook from Pumperknickle.
De Troyer misses with a looping left.
De Troyer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pumperknickle moves out of range as De Troyer strikes.
De Troyer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pumperknickle has time to react.
De Troyer tries to bum rush Pumperknickle with a series of wild strikes but Pumperknickle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
De Troyer lands a head kick!
Pumperknickle throws a poor cross that misses
and De Troyer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pumperknickle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
De Troyer wants to control from the top but Pumperknickle keeps moving.
Pumperknickle looking to hit a scissor sweep but De Troyer is one step ahead there.

De Troyer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
De Troyer tries to free his leg and advance position but Pumperknickle is retaining full guard.
Pumperknickle can't keep his opponent in guard - De Troyer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
De Troyer seems to be looking for submissions.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with De Troyer in particular looking to stall.

De Troyer lands a nice looking kick to the body. Pumperknickle takes a step back to recover.

De Troyer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pumperknickle.

De Troyer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pumperknickle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
De Troyer lands with an uppercut that bounces Pumperknickle off the cage and back into range.
Pumperknickle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. De Troyer defends it nicely.
Pumperknickle throws a leg kick but De Troyer sees it coming and checks it nicely.
No luck for De Troyer with that takedown attempt.
De Troyer throws a head kick but Pumperknickle moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
De Troyer lands with an overhand left.

De Troyer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pumperknickle gets a double leg takedown into De Troyer's guard.
De Troyer is pulling down on Pumperknickle's head. It's preventing any offense from Pumperknickle, at least for the moment.
Pumperknickle stays in close to De Troyer's body and controls the position.

De Troyeris looking to pass into half guard but Pumperknickle pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pumperknickle is in guard.
De Troyer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

De Troyer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Pumperknickle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Troyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tyson Pumperknickle.
Pumperknickle throws a jab but it's blocked by De Troyer.

De Troyer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pumperknickle defends it nicely.

De Troyer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
De Troyer throws a hook to the side of Pumperknickle's head but Pumperknickle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pumperknickle swings and misses with a hook to the body.
De Troyer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pumperknickle.
Pumperknickle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fighters circling - Pumperknickle throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
De Troyer throws a looping overhand right but Pumperknickle ducks down to avoid it.
Nice sprawl there from De Troyer as Pumperknickle shoots in.
Pumperknickle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and De Troyer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pumperknickle scrambles back to his feet.
De Troyer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pumperknickle is breathing heavily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
De Troyer connects with a looping right hand.
De Troyer looks to land a right hand but Pumperknickle moved out of range.
Good shot there by De Troyer.
De Troyer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pumperknickle.
Pumperknickle misses with a wild body shot.
Nice body punch from Pumperknickle.
De Troyer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A head kick by De Troyer - that's a beauty! Pumperknickle is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even De Troyer can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
